About the Artist - Tara Beiser

I specialize in abstract art centered around what motivates and inspires us. I focus on contemporary art, with the current medium of acrylics on canvas.

Why do I paint and what inspires me?

I originally painted my original art as a creative outlet. After a long hiatus, I reignited my efforts in 2010. Then in 2016 after moving across the country, I learned I had early onset macular degeneration and I had the eyesight of someone over eighty before I was even forty. As it is degenerative it took time to confirm how fast it was continuing to accelerate. After a few years I confirmed it stabilized so the concern is now minimized. This makes my paintings very personal. It motivates me to make the most of every day and bring inspiring images to others.

Why 'Artworthy Studio'? Why not leverage my name? Simply because it's not about me, it's about you and the art that inspires and is worthy of you.

I currently reside in the Dallas area but started my artistic journey over a decade ago while living in downtown Chicago. The mix of these diverse environments have also inspired my work.

Art with a Cause

Art should make you feel good and be personal to you. To give additional meaning to your art, a portion of the price will be donated to a charity of your choice. There are four charities to select from. If there is another charity you are passionate about, happy to include that as your option.

Featured Charity

Cure JM Foundation is an organization that helps supports the research and awareness efforts of Juvenile Myositis (JM), a rare life-threatening disease that affects approximately 2-4 children in a million. It affects the body’s immune system attacking its own cells and tissues. This is personal to me as I know an adorable young girl afflicted with this. She is amazingly strong and would inspire you to see her giving nature despite the struggles you faces every day. Due the rarity of the disease I want to take the opportunity to drive awareness and help fund the cause.
